Two pieces in three in the Ocean Blues lineup are wire-free, and the card says so on each, because the absence of a wire is a decision and not an oversight. Without a wire, a top holds by the cup and the band: a molded cup on the wide-strap bandeau, the strapless twist and the twist-front tankinis, a built-in bra on the athletic one-piece and the loose-fit tankini, a pad you can take out on the string triangle, the retro cutout and the ruffle longline. What you get is a top you can fall asleep in on the deck and a suit that goes through the wash without a wire working loose.

What you give up is lift. A soft cup holds a full bust in place but does not raise it, and a strapless soft cup, the wide-strap bandeau or the strapless twist, holds only as well as its band fits. So the rule on this page is the reverse of the underwire page: measure under the bust snug, take the band letter, and let the cup follow. The wire-free pieces run from a nine-dollar loose-fit tankini top on the plus run to the forty-dollar ruched set, and from S on the regular run to 4XL+ on the plus.

Every colourway here is priced on its own; the Ocean Blues collection keeps the figures current and the till is what decides.

Questions about Ocean Blues Wire-Free Swimwear

Nothing under the cup but the cup

Will an Ocean Blues wire-free top hold a large bust?

The ones with a built-in bra or a molded cup will hold it in place: the twist-front tankini top, the loose-fit plus tankini, the athletic one-piece, the wide-strap bandeau. What they will not do is lift it, and a strapless soft cup on a full bust is the one to avoid. For lift, the underwire page is next door.

Which Ocean Blues wire-free swimsuit is the most comfortable for a whole day?

The loose-fit tankini top on the plus run and the blouson tankini set: both hang from the bust with a built-in bra or a padded cup and touch nothing at the middle. Among the one-pieces, the athletic boyshort suit with its shelf bra is the one people wear from the car to the water and back without thinking about it.

How do you wash an Ocean Blues wire-free swimsuit?

By the label sewn into it, which the Care Labeling Rule requires to give a method, a water temperature if hot water harms, and a warning against anything that would damage the piece. For a soft-cup suit that usually means a cool rinse after chlorine or salt, a gentle wash, and a flat dry away from the sun. The pad in a removable-pad top comes out first.
